We are pleased to announce that we have just released a new update to the Self-hosted version of GForce.
This update includes the following new features:
- Landing page redesign: We have changed the layout of the landing page to be more user-friendly.
- Unified dashboard: When a user is logged in, the landing page now changes to a unified dashboard that displays the latest items from all groups that a user belongs to. Previously, the user needed to visit each group to see latest items. This new feature makes it easy for users to easily view all new items without having to visit each group.
- New messaging area: We have created a section for message viewing that is accessible to all registered users. Previously, messages were only viewable when a user was logged into a group. However, with this new feature, even users who do not belong to any group can view and reply to messages.
- Dedicated roster event page: We have created a dedicated page for viewing events and shifts from the roster. This makes is possible for users to click on events and shifts from both the unified dashboard and the group dashboard to see more details about an event.
